Early in 2008 when Judy Csillag, a personal friend and long time interfaith advocate asked me if I would like to participate in a Women of Faith build for Habitat for Humanity, I said yes with no idea of what this would entail Barbara Wilson, family outreach coordinator for Habitat informed me that most of the work at Habitat for Humanity is volunteer and 60% of volunteers are women Gurwinder Gill, Director Diversity Services for William Osler Health Centre this was an experience of cultural diversity where women crossed all boundaries of faith and culture putting aside biases in working together for a cause that touched all of them
